How to Delete Facebook Account Permanently

In the last post I talked about how to deactivate Facebook account temporarily. But sometimes we may want to delete our Facebook account permanently and then again start from scratch or may be leave Facebook forever. So this is a guide on how to delete Facebook account permanently.

How to Delete Facebook Account Permanently:

Steps to delete Facebook account permanently are quite easy and here they are:-

1.  First of all remember of any sites which you use to login using your Facebook account and visit that site and change your login details on that site.
2. Visit the Facebook Deletion Page by clicking Here. You will be asked to login. Enter your Username or E-Mail and password and login. The page will Reload and a page saying “Delete My Account” and with two buttons saying “Delete My Account” and “cancel”. Click on Delete My Account.

4. Next you will be asked “You are about to permanently delete your account. Are you sure?” If you are, enter your password and the text pictured in the image on the page. When ready, click “Okay.”
5. After confirming your account deletion you don’t have  to do anything . After 14 days your Facebook account will be deleted permanently.

Note: After clicking on confirm button to delete Facebook account if you want to undelete it then you can do it within 14 days. After 14 days you can do nothing to Undelete your Facebook account. To Undelete your Facebook Account simply login to Facebook using your Username/E-mail Id and password. You will be asked if you want to cancel deletion. Confirm your Facebook account deletion cancellation and your Facebook account will not be deleted.
