Android phone's Google voice search is handy as is, but reader Michael Crider shares a tip with us that we didn't think about before—it also means you have Google's calculator and conversion tools available via voice activation.

This app is recognizing English only
To make it working for non-english speaking countries, you need to manually set language to english in settings->Voice input & output-> Voice recognizer settings-> Language. (This is the setting for android 2.2, if you don’t find this setting on your phone, please refer to locale)
